Sales Associate
Position : Sales Associate
The Sales Associate will create and oversee a portfolio of customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities. Responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, measuring floor plans, generating sales proposals, selecting and delivering product samples to customers, managing installation oversights and quality control. In this role, you will liaise with the Production Manager and CEO to improve the entire customer experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct outside sales and consultations, educating customers on our extensive flooring options.
- Activate and maintain strong relationships with architects, General contractors, builders, Property Management, and other industry professionals.
- Utilize your technical knowledge to recommend products suitable for customers' specific applications.
- Customize the buying experience by offering in-home consultations or showcasing products in our retail space.
- Meeting and exceeding your individual sales goals while being an uplifting team player.
- Answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers.
- Accept and process customer’s payments
- Write sales orders, issues samples, provide estimates
- Work with installations team to schedule jobs
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the company's flooring product lines and stay updated in the industry trends and advancements.
- Develop client base to drive sales goals and have action plans.
- Measure, track, and analyze sales performance by account.
- Create KPI’s to build sales agenda.
- Log customer and prospect information into CRM.
- Build strong relations with your clients, to earn the respect of repeat business.
- Ensure extreme attention to detail in all aspects of estimation and orders.
- Conduct thorough reviews of project requirements to mitigate errors.
- Proactive in identifying potential challenges and proposing solutions.

Qualifications:
- Sales Experience: Prior experience in sales, preferably in the flooring or related industry, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Preferred but not required.
- Customer Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse customer segments and industry professionals.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to accurately process orders, conduct thorough project reviews, and mitigate errors.
- Adaptability and Proactivity: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and proactively identify opportunities for improvement, while demonstrating a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with team members.
